Ah, remember the good old says with Windows NT where you could type:
chkdsk C: /f
and on the next reboot, Windows would do a nice, detailed check of the hard drive? Well, with Windows 10, you get to use a new procedure:
- Press Windows + X on the keyboard.
- Select Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
- In the CMD window, type the following command and press Enter
sfc /scannow
- Wait for the process to complete. Restart the computer.
